We look forward to sharing an exciting journey of discovery, to find another way.
The Academy teaching programme was originally formed in the late 1980s by Carol Lamb in response to requests by those who had benefited from a pioneering approach to holistic therapy. As a result clients wished to understand the principles behind metaphysical healing and by 1991 a college programme was founded. Over the past 20 years a network of clinics, holistic centres and community based programmes have been established by those who went on to specialise in their chosen areas of expertise.
In the past five years the Academy course programme has been presented throughout the United Kingdom and extended to Cork, Ireland and Sydney and Brisbane, Australia. The teaching team includes tutors with over thirty years experience in their respective fields and a team of Academy trained teachers.

Aims of the Academy
- To provide a comprehensive introduction to the science of healing through an understanding of the electromagnetic field or human aura.
- To explain the origins and pathways of disease from medical and spiritual perspectives.
- To provide practical hands-on experience through workshops in respect of a range of holistic therapies.
- To explore the multi-dimensional aspects of healing and the correspondence between the intuitive, mental, emotional and physical energy bodies.
- To explore the role of memory in relationship to causative factors in disease and the healing process.

Format
The teaching programme is modular providing a core curriculum which allows students an opportunity to progress from Introductory Self-Help, through Intermediate to Advanced Level with optional Therapist and Teacher Training.
The Academy of the Air offers online course material, allowing students to progress at their chosen pace. Multimedia workshop presentations provide hands on practical experience and are offered nationally and internationally.
